Saint Elmo Avenue in front of the church is the path of the bicyclists.
THE FOLLOWING ROADS WILL BE CLOSED OR HAVE LIMITED ACCESS FOR THE BIKE PORTION:
• The right southbound lane of Riverfront Parkway between Molly Lane and W. MLK Boulevard;
• Riverfront Parkway southbound will be fully closed between W. MLK Boulevard and Broad Street. All traffic will be directed northbound only;
• The right southbound lane of Market Street between West 20th Street and West 40th Street;
• West 40th Street between Alton Park Boulevard and Tennessee Avenue;
• I-24 on-ramp and Southbound off-ramp at Market Street will be closed and all streets crossing this route will be controlled by CPD officers; and

Cyclists will also be on Tennessee Avenue and St. Elmo Avenue to the state line, riding with traffic. Good Morning
Hi y’all. Wish I were with you in person. Love each and every one.
Good morning to all! Matthew Nevels, PFLAG Chattanooga
You will soon! Your knee friend, Ken Turner and Joy was in church. Surprised me, Joy said he drove.
Good evening friends,
Today was a remarkable day for those of us from Holston attending the postponed 2020 General Conference in Charlotte, NC. It was truly inspiring to see many familiar faces from Holston actively participating and contributing in various capacities at the Charlotte Convention Center. Our community’s spirit and dedication were on full display, making it a proud moment for all of us.
While Annette Spence, the editor of The Call, is preparing a special feature on some of our dedicated volunteers, I wanted to share the infectious enthusiasm and camaraderie I witnessed. Without revealing too much and overshadowing her story, it’s safe to say that our folks are making significant impacts.
The conference kicked off with an engaging opening session that included a time for worship, insightful instruction, and some preliminary business discussions. For a detailed summary of today’s events, I encourage you to read the Day 1 Recap from the United Methodist News Service, available through the link below.
Looking ahead, Holston Communications is excited to increase our social media presence starting tomorrow. We plan to share videos from our delegation and continue to highlight the incredible stories from our community. Don’t forget to visit HopeInHolston.org for ongoing updates and more inspiring stories from the General Conference.
Thank you for your ongoing support and prayers. It is truly an honor to share this journey with you. I invite you to join our delegation for a morning prayer session at 7:40 am each day. These days can be lengthy and challenging, but the knowledge that we are supported by a community full of friends and family who are praying for us provides immense strength and encouragement.
Blessings,
Tim Jones
Director of Communications
